Investment Casting allows metal parts to be built quickly as part of the Rapid Prototyping process. A wide variety of materials are available, including Aluminum, Bronze, Brass, Stainless Steel, and custom Steel formulations.
The QUICKCAST™ process uses a specially-built hollow SLA part as a molding pattern for metal casting. The part is cast using standard investment casting techniques, after which the plastic master is heated until it vaporizes.
Lost Wax Casting
Metal is poured over a wax pattern, which is then melted out. The wax material is recovered for later reuse.
A cost-effective process for short production runs, suitable for low-temperature metals such as Aluminum and Bronze.
